Sprague hopes the presence of a casino convinces tribe members to return home to live and work. | WAYLAND — In its brief history as Michigan’s newest federally recognized American Indian tribe, the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi, commonly known as the Gun Lake Tribe, has been distinguished by its efforts to build a 193,500-square-foot casino on the site of the former Ampro factory in Wayland Township. |
